BIOGRAPHY

Basket Case started back in 2002 as an original band on the circuit in Lincolnshire. As a well known band under another name the band had performed many shows all over the country with some big bands of past and present. Shows included The Underworld in Camden, London during a week long tour with the ska punk bands ‘The Wayriders and ‘Nerve’. Other shows in the past 3 years include open air concerts with 80’s legends T’Pau in 2004, with Go West in early 2005 and a week long tour on the Viking Fm breakfast show live. The band took themselves to the next level by becoming a fantastic tribute to legendary U.S punk rockers Green Day in the summer of 2005 and since have been greatly welcomed as a wonderful show from such an energetic group of amazing sound-a-likes and look-a-likes. Basket Case are sure to impress with their strong commitment to their look, sound and drive to prove they are the most impressive and enjoyable tribute to Green Day. Performing all the classics, new chart topping hits from the number 1 album American Idiot and many more for all those hardcore fans. It has been said Kris is the best Billy Joe lookalike in the country. He has all the looks, charisma and frontman status to fooling the audience he is the man. Not only does he perfrom like Billy Joe, he evens shares the same birthday as the Green Day frontman.

Karl has been listening to Green Day since they broke onto the scene 15 years ago and theres not much he doesnt know about the punk rockers. After spending the last 7 years studying to skills of Tre' Cool, he is the perfect performer smashing the drums with plenty of 'very cool' charisma.

Playing the bass in a Green Day tribute was never going to be an easy task because everyone who likes Green Day knows Mike Dirnt is quite possibly the best bass player in punk rock. Carl loves nothing more than playing live on stage to hard core punkers thrashing out the bass to hits such as Stuck With Me, Longview and many more.
